“P2”
is a suspense/horror movie about Angela
Bridges (Rachel Nichols), a workaholic
who’s at her office finishing
up some work on Christmas Eve. After
she’s done with work, she goes
to her car, which is parked in the
P2 parking garage.
Her car doesn’t start, and the
only person around is Thomas (Wes
Bentley), the security guard. He tries
to help her, but the car doesn’t
start.
He invites her to join him for some
Christmas dinner in the security office.
Thomas turns out to be a psychopath
who’s been stalking Angela for
a while. Angela must find a way to
get out of P2 alive.
The idea of the film is good, but
the film itself is very cliché.
Bentley’s performance as a psychopath
is very good and believable.
The film does have its high points
though, but they’re not enough
to overcome the bad parts. Some of
the parts are just not believable,
and I don’t want to give anything
away. So if you rent the movie, you’ll
know what I’m talking about.
I like the idea, and it had a chance
to be a very terrifying movie. Overall,
I recommend saving your money, and
waiting for it on cable.
