‘Rest Stop’ is horribly stuck in a plot hole

In the mood for a cheesy horror movie? “Rest Stop” is sure to please with a lack of story, blood the color orange, and a menacing villain who uses a school bus as a torture chamber.

Oh, and I forgot to mention Joey Lawrence. WHOA!

This movie went straight to DVD for a reason. It seems that the director had all the right scenes in his head, but the story has too many plot holes for any of them to make sense.

The emotional reactions from the characters are so far off the mark it causes laughter rather than screams. If you are looking for a movie that will kill some time as well as some deserving characters, “Rest Stop” will work as mere entertainment; anything more from this movie is asking too much.
