“Knocked Up” stars Seth Rogen as Ben.  Ben is a typical twentysomething slacker.  He ends up having a one-night stand with a local entertainment reporter, Alison (Katherine Heigl).  The shocking news is that Alison becomes pregnant with Ben’s child.  The typical love story ensues, but with director Judd Apatow’s twist on it.
           
This is one of the best comedies of the year and has something for everyone.  The blend of both realism in Ben and Alison’s relationship and the frat-boy humor of Ben and his friends makes this a fantastic movie for a romantic night in.  The movie’s plot is a bit predictable, but the execution of it makes it well worth buying or renting the DVD.  You can’t go wrong with this hilarious movie.
