Sports blog: Don’t forget the OLLU club teams

Sports Editor

OK. So this week has been really crazy and filled with multiple essays on top of life’s stresses so I really didn’t have time to delve into a dynamic, controversial, interesting, etc. sports topic. Still, there is something weighing on my mind that I feel I should get out there.

Wednesday, Oct. 10, marks the first home game for the OLLU men’s club basketball team, and I just want to show the guys some love and encourage everyone to get out there and show some support.
Sure, this is not NAIA play, but these guys play with the same heart as any other athletes on campus.

That being said, they deserve the same respect and encouragement that has been shown to the other athletic teams on campus this semester.

Also, don’t forget about the women’s club volleyball team. Even though the NAIA teams have wrapped up their seasons, that does not mean sports teams on campus are closing out for the year. If anything, things are just getting started!

One last thing...my blogs can be found on the Lake Front’s official myspace page, www.myspace.com/ollulakefront....check them out and leave comments/responses....next week I will post them on my blog with some commentary from me!
