Michael Moore is the master of controversy and his most recent documentary is now available on DVD. This time around, he is exposing the continuously growing problem with America’s healthcare system.
The villains in this documentary are HMOs and insurance companies. The audience is introduced to a couple of people in different situations who have had bad luck with these companies, and Moore goes along with them on their journey to find a solution. You get a history lesson on how the HMOs got started and how other countries run their healthcare system.
This documentary is entertaining and informational. It’s also a bit of a tearjerker when you hear the sad stories. It provokes the viewer to the think and question why the U.S. government doesn’t pay for our healthcare.
For Michael Moore fans, it’s another hit. It’s a great film for those who have yet to see his past work and for those who don’t really care for him. So sit back, and open your mind. You might find it interesting.
