“La Vida Es Un Ratico” is worth more than a moment’s listen

La Vida Es un Ratico” (“Life Is a Moment”) is the fourth and latest CD by Latin Grammy winner Juanes. The CD was released on October 2007, and it’s his best and most profound CD yet.  This CD is filled with tunes that combine catchy rock hooks with traditional Colombian rhythms and melodies.

Camila’s “Todo Cambio” makes for a great summer album

Camila’s “Todo Cambio” equals money well spent. Now, this is a CD that I can honestly say I love every song and I never hit the skip button.

Pablo, Samo and Mario make up the group called “Camila;” they are like a Latin version of Simple Plan. They have an edgy rock look and sound, yet up-beat. Coincidentally, both bands have a thing for relationship and love songs.

Pitbull provides soundtrack for the summer

With the end of the semester right around the corner, it is time to start looking for that one song that is going to sum up the next three months of summer vacation.

Well, look no further than Pitbull’s “The Boatlift.” This CD is sure to get any party started and keep it going.

Book Review: Picoult takes readers on journey to question both family, faith

Fans of author Jodi Picoult are adjusted to her ability to take her readers inside of her characters, their families, their daily lives, and, most important, their hearts so it is no surprise that her latest novel, “Change of Heart,” in the end leaves readers feeling both extremely satisfied and yet completely unsatisfied in a truly unique and perfect balance.
